Exploring corporate governance differences between the US and Norway

The project aims to explore the development of corporate governance in the USA and Norway from a starting point in the "freedom of contract" reign in the 18th century and into the current day and age where corporate governance is highly affected by hard and soft laws. The project will question the usual characterization of USA as particularly shareholder oriented and Norway as particularly stakeholder oriented, and look for similarities and differences between the countries that open up for new insights.
