Robust Governance in Times of Crisis (RobustGov)

The objective of this proposal is to make both conceptual progress and empirical contribution in our understanding of governance robustness in times of crisis, with relevance for the political science literature. RobustGov argues that times of crisis represent an underappreciated opportunity to examine the robustness of governance systems. Less attended to by contemporary scholarship, unsettled and emergent governance systems such as the European Union offer opportunity for scholarly reflection, stock taking, and advances for social sciences. This project is a comprehensive and ground-breaking attempt to understand governance robustness in times of crises.
