On behalf the University of California, Berkeley; a consortium of eight Norwegian Universities; and the Norwegian Research Council, held a two-day conference and celebration on October 25 and 26, 2012 on the UC Berkeley campus. This event marked the launch of the Peder Sather Center for Advanced Study—a significant research initiative that was formally established in May, 2012.  View Event information.
